Who this policy is for
This policy covers this website and the editor that runs on it. It is written for readers everywhere, and it applies whether you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States or anywhere else. Where a rule applies only to certain regions, that is said explicitly.
This site is operated as an independent personal project. It has no employees, no offices open to the public and no customer database.
The images and text you put into the editor
They stay on your device. The editor is written entirely in the code that runs inside your browser. There is no server component that receives a photo, a screenshot or the text of a caption. Loading an image, removing a background, applying adjustments and encoding the final PNG or JPG all happen locally, using your own device's processor.
Because nothing is uploaded, there is nothing stored on a server to request, correct or delete. Your work in progress is kept in your browser's own local storage so that closing the tab does not lose it; that copy sits on your device and is removed when you clear your browser's site data, or when you use the reset control in the editor.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers record standard technical request data: the IP address the request came from, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary server logging, is used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse or faults, and is not combined with anything else to identify you.
The site does not ask for your name, your email address or any other personal detail in order to work. There is no registration, no login and no newsletter sign-up form.
Advertising
This site shows advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Depending on your settings and your region, those ads may be personalised — chosen using data about your previous browsing — or non-personalised, chosen only from the content of the page you are on and coarse information such as your approximate location.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by Google at any time at Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of personalised advertising by many other vendors at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at Your Online Choices. Consent, and how to change your mind
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you are shown a consent message before advertising and measurement cookies that are not strictly necessary are set. That message is presented through a consent management platform certified by Google, and it lets you accept, reject, or choose per purpose.
Your choice is remembered on your device, and you can reopen the message and change it at any time from the privacy or consent link in the footer of any page. Rejecting personalised advertising does not remove the ads and does not restrict any part of the editor; it changes how the ads you see are chosen.
Outside those regions the same controls are available through the vendor opt-out links in the section above, and through your browser's own cookie settings.
Cookies and similar storage in plain terms
Three kinds of storage are used. First, your editing draft and your interface preferences, such as the language and whether you chose the dark theme, kept in your browser's local storage; these never leave your device and are not sent anywhere. Second, a record of your consent choice, so you are not asked on every page. Third, advertising and measurement cookies set by Google and its partners, subject to the consent described above.
You can block or delete all of these from your browser's settings. Blocking the first kind means the editor forgets your draft between visits; blocking the others does not affect the editor at all.
Children
This site is a general-audience tool and is not directed at children under 13, and no content is knowingly created for or targeted at them. No information is knowingly collected from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, use the contact page and it will be removed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent. Because this site holds no account data and receives none of your images, in most cases the honest answer to a request is that there is nothing held to return.
The exceptions are the server request logs held by the hosting provider and the data held by advertising vendors. For advertising data, the vendor's own controls — linked in the advertising section above — are the fastest route, because they hold that data directly rather than through this site. For anything else, write to the address on the contact page.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or shared, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that date means the current version applies.
